Better Decision-Making Through Emotional Intelligence
It has been said that for any leader, their primary deliverable is a decision. Some decisions are small and simple, while others are complex and can be overwhelming. Yet most leaders, and most organizations, have never explored the process for making truly effective decisions.
Leadership expert Drew Bird has been helping professionals and organizations understand, develop, and apply their emotional intelligence for more than a decade. Author of The Leader’s Guide to Emotional Intelligence, Drew has a passion for developing great leadership, and supporting the creation of emotionally intelligent workplaces. His first-hand experience as a leader, from the front lines to the c-suite, allows him to bring a practical perspective that is rooted in the day-to-day realities of leading in today’s organizations.
In this special event, Drew will share the 8 Key Components of Emotionally Intelligent Decision-Making which not only helps leaders make decisions more effectively, it increases their capabilities to foster this skill in those around them. He’ll look at the science behind decision-making and risk-taking, and explore the ways Emotional Intelligence (EQ) can help individuals increase their self-awareness, relational agility, confidence and ultimate success in their decision-making process.
